Mrs. Helen Lyons Killen, 82, of Greenhill, passed away March 14, 2011, at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home. She was a member of the Church of Christ, retired from Flagg Knitting, Skyline Fishing Line, and a home maker.
Survivors include:
Husband: Fulton (Pete) Killen - Greenhill
Sons:
Wade Killen (Myria) - Killen
Dale Killen - Memphis
Brother: Bob Lyons - Florence
Sisters:
Auzelle Bryant - Spanish Fort, AL
Joan Pollard (David) - Florence
Grandchildren: Hailey, Vanessa, Jamie, and Doug
(2) Great Grandchildren
Preceded in death by:
Parents: Louis Madison and Ollie Allen Lyons
Son: Ty Killen
Brother: Lavone Lyons
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 15, from 5:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 1:30pm at the North Carolina Church of Christ with Bro. Don Williams and Bro. Miles Stutts officiating. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
