Obituary of Ira Glenn Hannah

Ira Glenn Hannah, 72, of Greenhill, AL, passed away December 12, 2013 at his home. Mr. Hannah was retired from Reynolds Alloys and was a member of Shiloh Church of Christ. Survivors include: Wife: Patricia Ann Erwin Hannah Son: David Glenn Hannah of Decatur, AL Daughter: Linda Lee Palmer (Harvey) of Huntsville, AL Brother: Ronnie Collins Hannah (Sandra) Aunt: Kathleen Hannah Thigpen Grandchildren: Haley Palmer, Lindsey Palmer, Allie Weatherford, Rachel Weatherford White (Austin), Bryce Hutson, and Mitchel Hutson Mr. Hannah was preceded in death by his parents Ira James and Eula Mae Gist Hannah; daughter Kelly Hannah Weatherford; and brother Jerry Hannah. Visitation will be Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 1-3:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 P.M. with Bro. Howell Bigham officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Grigsby, Glen Holden, Ernest Kilpatrick, H.L. Butler, R.C. Clemmons, and Sherrel Comer. Honorary pallbearer will be Bill Turpen. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Good Samaritans or Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home. Greenhill Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
