Obituary of Lois Inez Roberson

Lois Inez Roberson, 80, of Iron City, TN, passed away December 9, 2013 at Crockett Hospital. Mrs. Roberson was born November 22, 1933 in Lawrence County, TN. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Roberson was a member of the Iron City Free Will Baptist Church and also a member of the Rogers High School Class of 1953. She was preceded in death by her parents John C. Clanton and Ironia Myrick Clanton; three brothers Andrew, Thomas and Willie Clanton; one sister Olive Martini; and one son-in-law Sammy Clanton. Mrs. Roberson is survived by her loving and very devoted husband of 59 years, William Sterling Roberson; four daughters: Teresa Clanton, Susan (Randy) Wallace, Donna (Tim) Lamprecht, and Sandra (Kevin) Sherrell; brothers James and Elzo Clanton; sister Ruthie Hyvonen; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and one great-greatgrandchild. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from 5-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday at 1:00 P.M. at Iron City Freewill Baptist Church. The casket will lie in state from 12-1:00 P.M. Burial will be in Railroad Cemetery. Bro. Jerry Coker and Bro. Stacy Holt will officiate. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Greenhill Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
