Obituary of Sammy Chandler

Samuel Lee Chandler, 55, of Florence, AL, passed away November 18, 2013 after an extended illness. Mr. Chandler was a reparatory therapist for A & E Medical and a member of Village Baptist Church. Survivors include: Wife: Judy Bryant Mother: Shirley Chandler Sons: Shawn T. Willett (April) and Bryant Lee Chandler (Ashley) Brothers: Jonathan Chandler and Adam Craig Chandler Sister: Debbie Bretherick Mother-in-law: Essie Bryant Sister-in-law: Connie Hopkins Brother-in-law: Robert Bryant Grandchildren: Brooke Willett, Annah Willett, Shawn T. Willett, and Nora Chandler Several loving nieces and nephews and a host of friends and family. Mr. Chandler was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Chandler; brother James "Marty" Chandler; and brothers-in-law Randy Bretherick and Chet Hopkins. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 20, 2013 from 1-3:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The Memorial service will follow at 3:00 P.M. with Bro. Tim Grigsby officiating. Sammy will be remembered as a father figure to many. Greenhill Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
