Derland Stanley McGee, 84, of Florence, AL, passed away November 18, 2013 after an extended illness. Mr. McGee was born in Lexington, AL, was a retired police officer from the City of Florence, and a member of the Faith Church.
Survivors include:
Daughters: Gloria Wright and husband Al, Melanie Richardson and husband Gene, and Deanna Cain and husband Dale
Sister: Gladys Newton
(9) Grandchildren and (15) Great-grandchildren
Mr. McGee was preceded in death by his parents Freddie Stanley and Della Rachel Cox McGee and by his sister Hazel Sledge.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 20, 2013 from 9-11:00 A.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Cemetery in Lexington, AL.
