Obituary of Sherry Wilkes

Sharon Denise "Sherry" Wilkes, 44, of Killen, AL, passed away November 16, 2013 after an extended illness. Mrs. Wilkes worked for Tee Jays Manufacturing as a sewer and was a clerk for Preferred Medical Building. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include: Husband: Greg Wilkes of Greenhill, AL Mother: Nelda Crowell Father: Charles Lee Blake Son: Michael Wilkes of Greenhill, AL Daughter: Haley Thornton and husband Justin of Russellville, AL Father-in-law: Kenneth Wilkes and wife Garnett of Muscle Shoals, AL Mother-in-law: Geneva Page and husband Johnny of Florence, AL Step-brothers: Jud and Jamie Crowell Step-father: James Crowell Sister: Patty Gilchrist and husband Wade of St. Florian, AL Sister-in-laws: Debbie Sparks and Ricky of Tuscumbia, AL, Leshia Wilkes and Roger Sanderson of Florence, AL, and Vicky Hurst and Ricky of Loretto, TN Grandchild: Brentley Thorton Niece: Chelsey Gilchrist Nephew: Colby Gilchrist Numerous Aunts and Uncles Visitation for Mrs. Wilkes will be Friday, November 22, 2013 from 12-2:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Henry Melton officiating. Burial will be in Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Colby Gilchrist, Wade Gilchrist, Andy Thompson, Jud Crowell, Jamie Crowell, and Bryin Marshall. The family would like to especially thank Robin Gibbons for her care of Mrs. Wilkes. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael Gregory Wilkes Trust at First Southern Bank.
