William Ellis Clark, 92, of Florence, AL, passed away peacefully June 12, 2013 after a brief illness. Mr. Clark was a United States Army Veteran of World War II and was retired from the maintenance department at the Mental Health Center. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Church of Christ.
Survivors include:
Son: Danny Clark (Connie)
Daughter: Jeanene Clark Shaw (Johnny)
Brother: Edward H. Clark
Sister: Atha Haddock
Grandchildren: Russell Shaw, Anthony Shaw (Sharon), and Drake Clark (Chenoa)
Great-grandchildren: Tanner, Conner, and Hunter Shaw and Maylie and Dominic Clark
Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Sina Watkins Clark; his wife Marie Bradley Clark; and his sisters Regina Wear and Clezel Medley.
Visitation will be Friday, June 14, 2013 from 12-2:00 P.M. at Mt. Zion Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Sonny Owens officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
