Obituary of James "Dusty" Willcutt

Dusty Willcutt completed his work on this earth May 18, 2013 at the age of 61 at ECM Hospital after an extended illness. He is survived by his sons, Billy Wells (wife Heather)and James A Willcutt, both of Florence; daughter Jennifer Vaughn (husband Kenneth; along with his 8 treasured grandchildren, Baily, Dolton, and Trinity Springer; Alex and Samanda Vaughn; Zoie and Maea Churchwell, Journey Wells; his companion Marilyn Pitts and his dog Liz; brothers Michael Willcutt and Glen Hodges (Judy); sisters Wanda Hatcher (Mack), Kathy Keeton (Rickey), Donna Hayes (Phillip), and Shelia Rodrigues, along with a multitude of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Christine Willcutt, grandparents, Everett and Eva Goodman, and grandson Steven Wells. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 21, from 11:00-1:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery with Military Honors. Pallbearers will be Nikki Newcomb, Angie Carter, Danielle Napier, Krissy Fish, Brianna Herston, Nikki Hill, Christy Love, and Crystal Thigpen. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Keeton, Joe Brazil, Eddie Wallace, and Aaron Thigpen. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
