Obituary of Virgil Peden

Virgil Lee Peden, 62, of Killen, AL, passed away April 14, 2013, after an extended illness. Mr. Peden was a mason by trade a member of the Faith Church. Mr. Peden is survived by the love of his life for 46 years, his wife Patricia Peden; mother Lillie Mae Peden; son Darrell Green (Sabrina); daughter Kimberly Killen; brother Billy Peden (Sandra); sisters Patricia Peck (Bobby) and Brenda Borden (Roger); grandchildren Byron Green (Katie), Brandon Bevis, Will Bevis, Trey Bevis, and Frankie Stewart; the father of the Bevis boys, Larry Bevis Jr.; the mother of grandson Byron Green, Debbie Cochran and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends. Mr. Peden was preceded in death by his father, Jessie James Peden. The family will accept friends Wednesday, April 17, 2013 from 3-5:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home for a celebration of Mr. Peden's life. The family would like to extend special thanks to the members of the Killen Rescue Unit, Dr. Timothy Martin, Edsel Holden, and Dr. Balbak. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The American Heart Association, St. Jude's, or the charity of your choice. Greenhill Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
