Lillian Bernice Austin, 81, of Killen, passed away February 20, 2011, at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home. She was a housewife and a member of Killen First Baptist Church. Survivors include: Husband: Taylor (A.T.) Austin - Killen Sons: Lyndon Wayne Austin (Janet) Tim Austin - Jackson, TN Daughter: Sherry Baker (Charlie) - Killen Brothers: Lawrence Faulkner (Mary Belle) - Florence Beauford Faulkner (Shelia) - Trinity Grandchildren: Nikki Tapp (Jimbo) Mandy Starks (Jeremy) Channing Austin Step-Grandchildren: Luke Adams and Nick Adams Great Grandchildren: Macayla Alexander Austin Moses Brody Austin Step Great Grandchildren: Taylor Jo Tapp Thorne Tapp Preceded in death by: Parents: Sam and Maude Faulkner - Waterloo Sister Mable Williams - Mishawaka, IN Brother: Luther Faulkner - Hardin County, TN Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 22, from 6:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 1:00pm at the funeral home with Bro. David McKelvey officiating. Burial will be in Killen Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alton Ledlow, Waymon Gray, Randall Weaver, Ricky Richey, Jeremy Starks, Jimbo Tapp, and Channing Austin. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Scott, Bobby Scott, and Freddie Reynolds. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home and Hospice of the Shoals for their care of Mrs. Austin. Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
