David Lewis Adler, 63, of Lexington, passed away February 13, 2011 at his home after an extended illness. He was a maintenance supervisor and a Baptist. He was a Marine veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the American Legion, DAV, and VFW.
Survivors include:

Sister: Shirley Ann Leonhard

Numerous nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Lewis and Lottie Shifflett Adler; his brother, Charles William Shifflett; and his sister, Patriciann Marie Martin.
A memorial service for Mr. Adler will be held Friday, February 18 at 6:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Bro Gregg Woodard officiating. Visitation will be before service from 5:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
