Obituary of James "Bud" Fowler

James I. (Bud) Fowler, 84, of Greenhill, passed away October 17, 2012, at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home. He was a member of Greenhill First Baptist Church, retired from the automobile industry, a Rogers Booster, and youth baseball coach. Survivors include: Wife: Wynell S. Fowler Sons: Jim Fowler and wife Betty Ray Fowler and wife Cindy Tim Fowler and wife Lisa Brother: Joe Frank Fowler (4) Grandchildren and (2) Great Grandchildren Preceded in death by: Parents: Irvin and Alice Gray Fowler Brothers: J. I. Fowler, Howard Fowler, and Russell C. Fowler. Sisters: Mattie Lou Lumpkins, Geneva Clemmons, and Julia Jones. Visitation will be Thursday, October 18, from 6:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday at 11:00am at the funeral home with Bro. Gregg Woodard officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Grandsons-Josh Fowler, Matt Fowler, T. W. Fowler; Nephews- Jimmy Clemmons, Carl Fowler, Bryan Fowler, Ike Fowler, and Charles Fowler. The family would like to express the appreciation to Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home for their great care given to Mr. Fowler You may sign the online guest registry at www.greenhillfuneralhome.net.
