Carolyn Marie Murks, 49, of Killen, passed away at her residence September 7, 20l2 after an extended illness. She was a member of Center Star Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Survivors include:
Husband: Anthony Irwin Murks
Daughter: Latasha Nicole Rice
Mother: Wylodean McLaughlin
Brothers: Dale McLaughlin
Jimmy McLaughlin
Joey McLaughlin
Sister: Linda Pierce

Preceded in death by:
Father: William Hollis McLaughlin
Brother: Derrick McLaughlin
The funeral service will be Sunday, September 9, at 3:00pm at the Center Star Baptist Church with Bro. Ashley Pettus officiating. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 1:00-3:00pm prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be nephews, Todd Pierce, Shawn Pierce, Cody McLaughlin, Wesley Heathcoat, Justin Heathcoat, and Ethan Eck. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Jones, and Brent White.
