Obituary of Jackie Allen Perry

Jackie Allen Perry, 87, of Florence, passed away July 15, 2024, at Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing Facility. He was retired from Reynolds Aluminum and a founding member of Muscle Shoals Street Rods Club. He is survived by Martha Haygood, as well as his son, Michael Allen Perry (Leah), and his granddaughter, Claire Margret Anne Perry. He is also survived by: Nieces: Connie Mitchell Townsend (Murray) & Glenna McInnish Wilson (David) Great-nieces: Anna Wilson Burnley (Cary), Leah Ruth Wilson & Kelli Elizabeth Townsend Great-nephew: Jay Michael Townsend Preceded in death by: Parents: Charlie Allen Perry & Effie Stewart Perry Son: Bradley Stewart Perry Sisters: Ruth Mitchell (James) & Myra McInnish (Glen) Visitation will be on Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 12:00 – 1:00pm, at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm, in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Shiloh Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Terry Kennamore, Tommy Higginbotham, Harrison Haygood, Hayden Haygood, & Members of Muscle Shoals Street Rods Club. The family would like to thank his friends at Jack’s Restaurant on Cloverdale Road. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mars Hill Bible School.
