Grady Carroll Thigpen, 78, of Lexington, AL, passed away at his home on June 30, 2024. Grady was a retired Mechanic for the Lauderdale County School System and a member of the Christian faith. Grady is survived by: Wife: Carolyn Gardner Thigpen Sons: Rick Thigpen of Greenhill, AL; Jimmy Bubba Irons (Katy Adams) of Greenhill, AL; Steve Thigpen of Iron City, TN; and Grady Anthony Thigpen (Kimberly) of Huntsville, AL Grandchildren: Ashley Thigpen, Haley Irons Hayes, Shelley Irons, Katie Thigpen, & Grant Thigpen. (7) Great-grandchildren He was preceded in death by: Parents: Virgil Lee Thigpen and Genora Clemmons Thigpen Brother: Johnny Thigpen Sister: Juanita Johnson Visitation will be Wednesday, July 3, 2024 from 1:30-3:30 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3:30 P.M. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Dennis Stults, Harry Stovall, Kevin Moreland, Gerald Scott, Bill Baer & Sheldon Hayes Honorary pallbearer will be: Chris Hanback
