Fred Elbert Holt, 86, of Killen, AL, passed away June 26, 2024 at NAMC. Fred was born in Zephyrhills, FL and was a retired Postman. He was a United States Naval Veteran and a Deacon at Greenhill First Baptist Church. He enjoyed leading people to Christ, spending time with family and friends, fishing, gardening, and doing yard work. Fred is survived by: Wife: Marilyn Coleen Powers Holt Son: Ben Holt (Deanne) of Murfreesboro, TN Brother: Louie Holt of Dade City, FL Sister: Judy Lee Holt of Ft. McCoy, FL Grandchildren: Ashley Holt, Austin Holt, Andrew Holt, Abbey Holt, and Sadie Holt He was preceded in death by: Parents: Willie Elbert Holt and Willie Mae Fowler Holt Son: Stephen Lamar Holt Brothers: Charles Otis Harris, Calvin Harris, and Jack Harris Sisters: Betty Holt, Nancy Holt, Trudy Holt, and Dorothy Harris Coker-Snipes Grandchild: Sarah Holt Visitation will be Sunday, June 30, 2024 from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Gregg Woodard officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery with full Military Honors.
