Margie Sue Gooch, 78, of Killen, passed away April 3, 2024, at Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing & Rehab Center in Florence. She was a member of Midway Church of Christ and retired from Herald Printing. Survivors include: Daughters: Cheryl Behel (Dennon) & Jennifer Lard (Jason) Grandchildren: Mellary Miller (Charlie), Bennett Behel (Jordan), Brody Behel, James Lard, Jake Lard & Jada Lard Sister: Brenda Gooch Nieces & Nephews: Tammy & Steven Bump; Bradley, Wynn & Thomas Gooch; Kimberly Gooch; Susan, Randy & Lillie Meyer Preceded in death by: Husband: Allen Bennett Gooch Parents: A.D. Beavers & Lela Mell Richardson Beavers Siblings: (2) Infant brothers Visitation will be Friday, April 5, 2024, from 11:00am – 2:00pm, at Greenhill Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service following at 2:30pm, at Shiloh Cemetery, with Drew Edwards, Charles Shoemaker & Bryan Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Bennett, Brody, James, Jake, Charlie & Bradley. The family extends special thanks for the loving care provided by Dr. Lyman Mitchell, Pam Hill CRNP, Home Instead, Cedar View Assisted Living, CaringPlace of the Shoals, Mitchell-Hollingsworth, & Amedisys Hospice.
