James Ellis Cabler, 80, of Iron City, passed away October 6, 2023, at North Alabama Medical Center. He was retired from Murray Ohio, a member of Iron City Church of Christ, and a veteran of the United States Army National Guard.
Survivors include:
Daughter: Angela Cabler Borden
Grandson: Trey Barkley
Preceded in death by:
Wife: Betty Kay Hannah Cabler
Parents: Charles Edward Cabler & Gertrude Pennington Cabler
Brothers: Haggard Cabler, Glenn Cabler & Charles Cabler
Sisters: Dorothy Christenberry & Marjorie Williams
Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, October 8, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00pm, at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Monday, October 9, 2023, at 11:00am, in the funeral home chapel, with Alvin Alston officiating. Burial will be at Loretto Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
