Brenda Gail Cottrell, 59, of Florence, passed away May 20, 2023, at Hellen Keller Hospital. She was a PCT Tech for Davita and a member of the Church of Christ faith.
Survivors include:
Sons: Joshua Wade Cottrell & Dylan Lane Hanback
Brothers: Charles Lee Thigpen(Susan) & Jerry Wayne Thigpen(Sherry)
Sister: Nancy Lynn Richardson(Greg)
Grandchildren: Joshua Braydon Cottrell, Paxton Lee Cottrell, Payton Bryant Cottrell &
Braxton Lane Hanback
Preceded in death by:
Parents: Buford CL Thigpen & Jimmie Sue Brewer Thigpen
Sister: Susie Ann Sharp
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 23, 2023, from 11:00am – 1:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm, in the funeral home chapel, with Dwight McGee & Greg Richardson officiating. Burial will be at Barnett Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Braydon Cottrell, Brad Richardson, Nick Thigpen, Keith Thigpen, Matt Thigpen, Brodie Thigpen, Lanny Wright & Payton Cottrell.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Brandi Phillips, Paxton Cottrell & Braxton Hanback.
Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
