Obituary of Curtis Damon Hall

Please share a memory of Curtis to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Curtis Damon Hall, 57, of Loretto, Tn, passed away February 23, 2023, at Maury Regional Medical Center. Curtis worked in customer service at Story & Lee Furniture and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Curtis was a humble and sincere man who loved life and treasured his family and friends. His charisma, humor, and smile drew people to him, and he made friends wherever he went. He was a poet and musician and poured his soul into every song and every performance. He was a lifelong student of history, an avid reader, a grill master, a painter of abstract art, a self-taught philosopher, and was wise beyond his years. He loved the ocean and having his friends over for parties in his home or by the pool. As a musician, he was an entertainer. He commanded the stage with his rocking soul and gravelly voice but could switch gears to croon a ballad or love song with the same intensity of “cool”. He loved playing loud and electric with his band brothers but was a master on the acoustic guitar, playing by himself and charming his audiences with his originals and the cover songs that everyone associated with him. Curtis was a one-of-a-kind generous person and a treasured friend to all who knew him and loved him. Curtis is survived by: Wife: Gina Sandy Hall Sons: Lucas Beecham, Ian Hall (Melody) Daughter: Sarah Beecham Grandson: Isaac Wiseman Mother: Sondra Pulley Hall Sisters: Kelly Self (Darren), & Susan Crum (Mickey) Brother: Sam Hall (Suzanne) (Also surviving: Cousins, nieces, nephews, countless musician brothers, and his Story & Lee coworkers, and beloved beagle Starr.) He was preceded in death by: Father: Wayland Hardison Hall, Brother: Marty Hall Visitation will be Tuesday February 28, 2023, from 4:00-8:00 pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 10:00am at Loretto Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Delly Mutajuka officiating. Burial will be at Loretto Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Special Thanks to Caris Hospice, Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center, Maury Regional Medical Center, and Fresenius Kidney Care of Florence.
