I think Wade had many friends because he was easy to be around. He never put you down or criticized you. He was the humblest guy I know. As egos go, on a scale of 1 to. 10, he was a 0. He didn’t “put on airs.” He got that honest, as they say, from his family, some of the best, kindest people around.
It’s like he knew the Bible verse that says we ought to think more highly of others than we do ourselves. He also knew that it’s more blessed to give than receive. If he could give you something, that made him happy.
I’m so sorry for all his family and friends who will miss him dearly. I hope when it doesn’t hurt so much, we will all remember all the good things about him and smile.

Wade liked to get out and drive around on old dirt roads. And I liked to take pictures. That worked really well.

Lucy led the life of a rough-cut vagabond — like Wade. Now, she’s got a new haircut and a new home. She’s very happy there.
