James Raymond Phillips, 88, of Iron City, passed away November 4, 2022, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems in Lawrenceburg. He was a native of Wayne County, TN, worked for Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency at Laurel Hill, was a member of Iron City Baptist Church, and a Veteran of the United States Air Force. Survivors include: Daughters: Jamie Hunt, Kelli Holman & Christene Topham Brother: Don Phillips Sister: Elaine Pennington (11 + 1 on the way) Grandchildren; (2 + 1 on the way) great grandchildren Preceded in death by: Wife: Dean Phillips Richter Parents: Marvin Phillips & Lillie Russ Phillips Son: Darryl Boyd Phillips Brothers: Carl, Larry, Frank, Delmer & Joe Phillips Sisters: Aliene Gamble, Effie Atwell, June Phillips(infant) & Nadine Kelley Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 7, from 6:00 – 8:00pm, at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Tuesday, Nov. 8, at 12:00pm, in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Allen Atwell, Michael Phillips, Jim Roberson, Mel Phillips, Doug Phillips and Dwight Phillips.
