Please share a memory of Ellis to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Ellis Ray Hudson, 87, of Florence, AL, passed away July 6, 2022 at his home. Ellis was a retired Supervisor for Fannie May Candy Company and a member of the Baptist faith. He was a native of Iuka, MS. Ellis was a loving father, husband, and avid fisherman. Ellis is survived by: Wife: Freddie Carol Burke Hudson Daughters: Lisa Hudson, Valerie Hudson Kubicki, and Amanda Stapleton Brothers: George Hudson, Jerry Hudson, and Steve Hudson Sisters: Joyce Riley, Jim MacDonald, Lynn Thomas, and Shirley Nunley He was preceded in death by: Parents: Ellis Edward Hudson and Willie Madge Pate Hudson Brother: David Hudson Sisters: Joan Hudson and Sue Hudson There will be a private family burial at a later date in Iuka, MS. God saw he was getting tired, and the cure was not to be, so He put His arms around him and whispered, “Come with me”. With tearful eyes we watched him suffer, and saw him fade away. Although we loved him dearly, we could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our heart to prove to us, He only takes the best.
