I always admired Jack. He was a man with many talents. His love for old cars would keep us talking for hours. His love for music and guitars plays a big part in my life today, for I play and even lead our music in the church to whom we are members. He was the first person that I can remember that built a guitar, and now thirty years later I also build guitars. He taught me to how to replace a clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing in a manual transmission. He taught me how to shave without cutting myself. He pulled me around the lake, on waterskis for hours behind that beautiful old ski boat that I loved. He helped me fix my car or motorcycle when I needed. He put up with me in my rebellious years. He taught me to play House Of The Rising Sun and several Hank Jr. songs. I remember when he bought a 280 zx that had been hit by a train, and he brought it home and rebuilt it and it looked great. He taught me how to set fence posts. Oh, I could go on and on. Jack was not my father but my stepfather, for a while. I thought of him as a father. To me, he was the neatest and coolest. He is a big part of who I am today. I'm so thankful to him for many things and would give anything to talk to him and catch up a little bit. I'm very saddened by his passing and would like to send condolences to his family, especially Jaclyn. I hope that my memories of him are a joy to those who knew him. Delane Angel
