Obituary of Linda "Sue" Harter

Linda "Sue" Harter, 67, of Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away at 1:00 am on Tuesday, May 8th, at Healthwin Specialized Care, South Bend. She was born in Florence, Alabama, on May 15th, 1944, to William and Cora (Vickery) Balentine, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her brothers, William Claude Balentine Jr. and Sydney Balentine, along with two sisters, Lillian "Sis" Lee and Tiny Evelyn Robertson. She is survived by her three children, Brian (Pam) Harter of Mishawaka, Kristi Harter of Chesterton, Indiana, and Tori Harter of Rolling Prairie, Indiana; eight grandchildren, Brian Harter Jr., Jeffrey Harter, Jeremy Lee Stainko, Michael Harter, Lindsey Stainko, Amber Stainko, Robert Kitch and Brianna Kitch; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Johnny (Sharon) Balentine and Bobby (Linda) Balentine; and sister, Almeda Stutts. Sue was a home heath care aide until her retirement. The family will be receiving guests from 5:00 until 7:00 pm today at Bubb Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka. Funeral services are being planned at Greenhill Funeral Home, 8450 Highway 43, Florence, Alabama, at 11 A. M. Saturday, May 12th. You may sign the online guestbook at greenhillfuneralhome.net
