Betty Ruth Gray, 78, of Killen, AL, passed away December 9, 2021, at her residence. She was a homemaker and a member of Center Hill Church of Christ.
Survivors include:
Husband: Charles Edwin Gray
Son: Charles Edwin Gray II (Dawn)
Daughter: LaDonna Kay Hunt (Clay)
Brother: Ricky Eugene Young
Grandchildren: Camie Melton, Christy Elledge & Lakota Gray
Great grandchildren: Shelby, Harley & Staley
Great-great grandchildren: Sunnie & Grayson
Preceded in death by:
Parents: Starling Earnest Young & Mary Frances Cummins Young
Brothers: Donnie Ray Young & 2 infant brothers
Sisters: Shelby Jean Miles, Pauline Barnett & Kathy Lynn Jones
Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, December 12, 2021, from 3:30 – 5:30pm, at Greenhill Funeral Home. There will be a graveside service on Monday, December 13, 2021, at 12:00pm, at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens with Keith Collier officiating.
Pallbearers will be: Chris Collier, Tony Barnett, Clay Hunt, Spanky Davis, Staley Davis & Tim Staggs.
The family would like to say a special thank you to everyone at Compassus Hospice & Palliative Care, especially, Lily, Amanda, Mel, Brooke & Chrissy, for the wonderful care they took of Betty.
