Obituary of Jimmy Joe Kennedy

Jimmy Joe Kennedy, 82, of St. Joseph, TN, passed away July 9, 2021. Jimmy Joe was the retired owner of Kennedy’s Sportswear and was of the Christian faith. He was also a United States Army Veteran, member of St. Joseph Lions Club, and the St. Joseph Cemetery Trustee Chairman.
Jimmy Joe is survived by:
Son: Kerry Kennedy (Emily)
Granddaughters: Claire Kennedy Methvin (Will), Catherine Kennedy, and Annelise Kennedy (Dylan Schrader)
Great-granddaughter: Aggie Methvin
Brother: Doug Kennedy (Royce)
Sister: Peggy Kennedy
Brother-in-law: Richard C. Roberson (Brenda)
Numerous nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by:
Parents: Robert Earl Kennedy and Katherine Elizabeth Behel Kennedy
Wife: Joyce Ann Roberson Kennedy
Brother: Kenny Kennedy
Sister: Janet “Bobbie” Dominic
Visitation will be Sunday, July 18, 2021 from 12:00-2:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Lanier Nail and Rev. Jeff Jacobs officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery with full Military Honors.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either:

2) St. Joseph Cemetery Fund -c/o Kathy Weathers, 767 2nd Ave South, Loretto, TN 38469
