Obituary of Elvie Harris

Elvie Mae Harris, 91, of Killen, AL, passed away April 10, 2012, after an extended illness. She was a homemaker and a member of Atlas Church of Christ. She is survived by: Son: Joe Harris (Debra) Daughters: Martha Wallace (Jimmy) Connie Wallace (Dub) Sisters: Lucille Tidwell Bennie Ruth (Monk) Flippo (6) Grandchildren and (9) Great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie Lee and Ellen Elizabeth Ross Cross; and her husband Percy Harris. Visitation will be Thursday, April 12, 2012 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow this at 12:00 P.M. with Bro. Bill Brazier and Bro. Miles Stutts officiating. Burial will be in Atlas Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Wallace, Kevin Wallace, Darren Wallace, Patrick Wallace, Brian Harris, and Blake Harris. Honorary pallbearers will be David Beavers, Joe Wayne Beavers, Ronnie Ray, Donnie Bretherick, and C.M. Glover. The family would like to thank everyone for their visits, cards, food and prayers during the illness of our mother. Special thanks go to Hospice Advantage for the great care given to our mother.
