Dorothy Mae Vinson, 94, of Florence, AL, passed away November 24, 2020 at El Reposo Nursing Home. Dorothy was a retired Seamstress for Florence Knitting Mill and a member of Atlas Church of Christ.
Dorothy is survived by:
Son: Greg Vinson (Cathy)
Daughter: Joan Simpson
(4) Grandchildren
(9) Great-grandchildren
Sister: Lorean Pettus
Sister-in-law: Lois Thigpen
She was preceded in death by:
Husband: Charles Johnny Vinson
Parents: Albert Marion Thigpen and Cleavie Davis Thigpen
Brothers: Jackie Thigpen & Ralph Thigpen
Sisters: Betty Grossheim, Juanita Williams, and Ruth Morrison
Son-in-law: Carl Simpson
Visitation will be Monday, November 30, 2020 from 12:00-1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with burial at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
