Obituary of Frank Eugene Henson

Frank Eugene Henson, 51, of Florence, AL, passed away September 22, 2020. Frank was a heavy equipment operator, working out of the Local 320 International Union of Operating Engineers and was a retired veteran of the United States Army National Guard after serving 27 years. He was a member of Lone Cedar Church of Christ. Frank loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.
Frank is survived by:
Wife: Kenya Richey Henson-loving wife of 20 years
Mother: Janey Henson of Tuscumbia, AL
Sons: Matthew Stutts (Haley) & Brandon Whitt (Misty)
Daughter: Savanna Henson
Grandchildren: Whitley & Adilynn
Brothers: Kenny Dell Henson (Diane), Dean Howard Henson, Zac Burton Henson (Christy), Zeb Barton Henson (Christy), and Zane Thomas Henson (Jessica)
Sisters: Joni Lynn Clevenger, Jennifer Lynn Bogus (Jason), and Jill Rena Alsbrooks (Mike)
Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews who all loved him dearly

Father: Howard Eugene Henson
Grandparents: Burton and Ollie Henson & Herbert and Velma McCollough
Brother-in-law: David Clevenger
Visitation will be Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Lone Cedar Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. at the church with Bro. Tim Grigsby officiating. Burial will be in Lone Cedar Cemetery with full military honors.
Pallbearers will be Tracy Terrell, Timothy Behel, Randy Ozbirn, Jimmy Lee Davis, Jr., Anthony McCollough, and Steve Ball. Honorary pallbearers will be D.C. Behel, Keith Wright, Jerry Henson, Teddy Richey, James Webster, Brothers & Sisters of IUOE Local 320, and members of the 115th Signal Battalion of Florence, AL.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
