James Edward "Tooter" Richardson, 76, of Greenhill, passed away February 16, 2012 at his residence after an extended illness. He was a retired Furnace Operator at Reynolds Metals and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include: Wife: Ethel Creasey Richardson Son: Paul Richardson and wife Tammy - Florence Daughters: Amy Byrd and husband Darrell - Florence Kristi Williams and husband Anthony - Killen Melissa Coker and husband Mickey - Florence Brother: Billy Richardson - Florence Sister: Sue Goins - Florence (7) Grandchildren (5) Great Grandchildren Visitation will be Saturday, February 18, from 5:00-8:00pm at the Stutts Road Church of Christ. The funeral service will be Sunday at 2:00 pm at the church with Bro. Charles Kretzer and Bro. Tim Grigsby officiating. The body will lie in state from 1:00-2:00pm. Burial will be in Shiloh Church of Christ Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Josh Richardson, Jeremy Richardson, Parker Byrd, and Hunter Byrd. Honorary pallbearers will be Troy Creasy, Jimmy Wallace, and Glen Hannah.Graton Hester. The family would like to thank North Alabama Cancer Center, Dr. Mann, Dr. Goodman, and Hospice of North Alabama for their care.
