Mr. John Henry Thompson, 78, of Rogersville, passed away July 7, at Cypress Cove Nursing & Rehab. John served in the U.S. Army National Guard before being disabled. He was also a member of North Carolina Church of Christ.
Survivors include:
Son: John Thompson (Renee)
Daughter: Cynthia Richey (Randy)
Grandchildren: Spencer Thompson, Brooklyn Thompson, Jeremy Richey (Amy)
Hillary Davis (Marcus)

Preceded in death by:
Parents: Spencer Rufus & Abby Ray Chandler Thompson
Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, July 11, from 11:00am – 1:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Jeremy Richey officiating.
Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
