Horace Lee Pigg, 69, of Greenhill, passed away January 25, 2011 in Nashville. He was a Power Plant Maintenance Specialist with TVA; a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps in the Viet Nam Era, and a member of Shiloh Church of Christ. Survivors include: Wife: Barbara Melson Pigg - Greenhill Sons: Dwayne Pigg - Florence Daniel Pigg - Woodville, AL Derek Pigg - Rogersville Daughters: Michelle McWilliams - Oakland, TN Monica Gillim - LaFayette, TN Brothers: Harold Pigg - Florence Jimmy Daniels - North Liberty, IN Sisters: Margaret Miles - Florence Melba Richeson - Chesterfield, MO June Barrier - Florence (7) Grandchildren Preceded in death by his mother, Pearl Pigg; and his brothers Eugene, Eldred, and Carlton. Visitation will be Friday, January 28, from 6:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday at 1:00pm at Shiloh Church of Christ with Howell Bigham officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. The casket will lie in state from 12:00-1:00pm at the church. Pallbearers will be Gentry Pigg, Mark Johnston, Maury Miles, Ryan Barrier, Kerry Barrier, and Brandon Pigg. Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
