Carl Wayne Simpson, 64, of Killen, AL, passed away January 21, 2020 at his home. Carl was a retired Operator for Nichols Wire and a member of the Church of Christ. Carl is survived by: Wife: Joan Vinson Simpson Son: Jason Simpson and wife Margo Daughter: Natalie Johns Brother: Dwight Simpson and wife Diona Sisters: Kay Stults and husband Tony, Rita Hannah and husband Joe, Donna Wilson and husband Wayne, and Sissy Simpson (6) Grandchildren: Kinsey Simpson (Dylan Canerday), Jacey Simpson, Easton Simpson, Austin Johns, Neely Johns, and Oakley Watkins Brother-in-law: Greg Vinson and wife Cathy Mother-in-law: Dorothy Vinson He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Charles Simpson and Betty Ruth Thrasher Simpson. Visitation will be Saturday, January 25th from 4-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Sunday at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Steve Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Emory Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Heath Daniels, Shane Stults, Barkley Wilson, Casey Wilson, Chad Simpson, Tyler Simpson, and Brandon Alldredge. The family would like to thank Hospice of North Alabama for their love and care during this difficult time.
