Mary Newton Roberts, 95, of Loretto, TN, passed away October 10, 2019 at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home. Mrs. Roberts was a retired Avon saleswoman and a member of Loretto Church of Christ.

 

Mary is survived by:

 

Nieces: Francis Rials of TX & Joyce Barrie of AZ

Nephews: Monte Roberts of AL & Ronnie Roberts of WA

Cousin: Gwen Bascomb of MS

Great-niece: Sandy Dorsey of TX

 

She was preceded in death by:

 

Father: Robert Newton

Mother: Jewell Warren Newton White

Husband: Robert Lee “Bob” Roberts

Sister: Geneva Newton Alloway

Nephew: Jimmy Roberts

 

Visitation will be Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 12:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Danny Pettus officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Athens, AL.
