Obituary of Tommie Lee Abernathy

Tommie Lee Abernathy, 84, of Killen, passed away October 5, 2019, at his residence.

He had worked for Lauderdale County Co-Op, and was disabled.  He was a member of Shiloh Church of Christ 

            Survivors include:

                        Daughter:        Patricia Balentine

                        Brother:           Gene Ed Abernathy

                        Sister:              Betty Sue Marks

                        Granddaughter:  Christy Holden and husband Keith

                        Great Grandchildren:  Kyle and Gracie Holden

            Preceded in death by:

                        Wife:               Elizabeth Ann (Rogers) Abernathy

                        Parents:           Willie and Mary Elizabeth Abernathy

                        Brothers:         Eli Abernathy, Willie Earl Abernathy, R. H. Abernathy, and

                                                Donnie Abernathy

                        Sisters:             Mary Ruth Myrick, Helen Liles, Louise Myhan, Virginia Frazier,

                                                And Jennie Chaney

            Visitation will be Sunday, October 6, from 1:00-3:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at 3:00pm with Bro. Howell Bigham officiating.  Burial will be in Emmaline Stutts Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Todd Clemmons, Jason Clemmons, Kenny Holden, Daniel Rogers, Kenneth Rogers, and David Liles.

            Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
