Carolyn Ruth Rose, 80, of Loretto, TN, passed away September 22, 2019 at her home. Mrs. Rose was a member of Fairview Congregational Methodist Church.

 

Ruth is survived by:

 

Daughter: Carolyn Gist (Elton) of Loretto, TN

Brothers: Johnny McDonald (Glenda) of Loretto, TN & Travis McDonald (Jan) of Loretto, TN

Sister: Rita Pettus (Jimmy Dale) of Loretto, TN

(6) Grandchildren and (9) Great-grandchildren

 

She was preceded in death by:

 

Parents: Leon & Louise McDonald

Daughters: Kay Ellis & son-in-law David Ellis and Pam Christian

Sisters: Josephine McDonald, Virginia McDonald, Estelene Smith, and Betty Pierce

Brothers: Joseph, Arthur Lee, Roy, Ottis, Roger Dale, and Ray McDonald

 

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 24, 2019 from 5-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Paul Monk officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers will be Chad Pettus, Troy Pettus, Jeremy McDonald, Josh McDonald, Jon McDonald, and Wesley Pierce.

 

Greenhill Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
