Obituary of David Michael Flippo, Sr.

David Michael Flippo, Sr., 76, of Killen, passed away August 17, 2019, at Mitchell-Hollingsworth in Florence.  He was a member of Atlas Church of Christ, retired from McKee Foods, Inc. (Little Debbie) as District Sales Manager, and served in the U.S. Army Reserve.

                Survivors include:

                                Wife:  Bonnie Jo (McGee) Flippo

                                Son:   David Michael (Mike) Flippo, Jr. & wife Rhonda

                                Daughter:  Joy Wilsdorf & husband Don

                                Sisters:  Marion Ayres, Hazel Mays (Wayne), & Jenny Killen (Selton)

                                Grandsons:  A.J. Flippo & Tucker Wilsdorf

                                Granddaughters:  Molly Flippo & Tori Wilsdorf

                Numerous nieces & nephews & loving congregation of Atlas Church of Christ.

                Preceded in death by:

                                Parents:  Lindell & Ola Flippo

                                Brothers:  C.L. Flippo, Alton Flippo & Lonnie Flippo

                                Sisters:  Mazie Keeton & Martha McRight

                                Grandson:   Tyler Wilsdorf

                There will be a graveside service Monday, August 19, at 10:00am at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens with Miles Stutts officiating.  Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.  The family will visit with friends immediately after the service at Atlas Church of Christ.

                Pallbearers will be:  A.J. Flippo, Tucker Wilsdorf, John Flippo, Paul Flippo, Allen Keeton & Jim Keeton.

                Honorary pallbearers will be all nephews and members of the Atlas Golf Tour.

                In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Atlas Servants Heart Ministry, North Alabama Christian Childrens Home or your favorite charity.
