Melinda Faye Hunt Chapman, 69, of Iron City, TN, passed away July 5, 2019. Mrs. Chapman was a retired welder at Wilson Casket Company and was a member of William’s Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.

 

Mrs. Chapman is survived by:

Husband: James Melvin Chapman

Son: James Chapman and wife Kathleen

Daughters: Tonya Caperton and husband J.D. & Tammy Thompson and husband Donny

Brothers: A.C. Hunt and wife Mary; Randy Hunt and wife Pam; and Charles Hunt and wife Amy

Sister: Julia Keener

Brother-in-law: Charlie Durham

(6) Grandchildren and (9) Great-grandchildren

 

She was preceded in death by:

 

Parents: Charles H. Hunt and Melinda Grace Adams Hunt

Son: James Melvin Chapman, Jr.

Sister: Charlene Durham

Brother-in-law: David Keener

 

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 5-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Thomas Davis, Jr. and Bro. Charles Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Hollis Cemetery.

 

Greenhill Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
