Donald Lynn Bolen, 77, of Lexington, AL, passed away December 22, 2011 at his residence of an extended illness. He was a native of Anna, IL and was retired from Reynolds/Wise. Mr. Bolen was a U. S. Army veteran, a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of the St. Vincent dePaul Society.

Daughters: Donna Hunter (Billy Wayne)-Dyersburg, TN, Belinda Dycus (Mick) -Dyersburg, TN, Jeannie Fox (Joe)-Florence, Mona Tidwell-Santa Rosa Beach, FL, and Angie Laughlin (Jeff)- Killen
Brother: Jimmy Bolen
Grandchildren: Kory Carlisle, Amber Carlisle, Jon Cody Dycus, Chrissy Keenum, Chris Crunk, Chad Crunk, Toni Griffin, Mark Garner, Jr., Ryan Harbin Fox, Charlie Tidwell, Quaid Melton, Tori Laughlin, Jacob Laughlin, and Jared Laughlin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Dora Mary Beauregard Bolen; his wife Gladus Butler Bolen; and his brother Bobby Bolen.
Visitation will be Monday, December 26, 2011 from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Florence, AL. The Funeral service will follow at 11:00 A.M. with Father Andy Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kory Carlisle, Chad Crunk, Chris Crunk, Jon Cody Dycus, Mark Garner Jr., Quaid Melton, Charlie Tidwell, and Matt Trousdale.
Mr. Bolen requested that in lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the St. Vincent dePaul Society or to a charity of your choice.
