Lando Spencer Cox, 76, of Five Points, TN, passed away December 21, 2011, at his residence. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from Lawrence Farmers Co-Op. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service with Chaplain Eddie Rogers officiating will be Friday at 11:00am at the funeral home with burial in Bonnertown (TN) Cemetery with Military Honors. He was a Baptist and member of Southeast Lawrence Community Club. Survivors include: Wife: Joan Pfeiffer Cox Sons: Jeff Cox and wife Vickie - Lawrenceburg and James Cox - Memphis Step-son: Monty Jones and wife Laura - Five Points Step-daughters: Sheryl Lopp - Loretto and Kristie Ferguson and husband Andy - Five Points Brothers: Thomas Cox and wife Sue - Five Points, David Cox and wife Helen - Five Points, Waylon Cox - Columbia, Royce Cox and wife Barbara - Lawrenceburg, Jimmy Cox and wife Patty - Leoma, and Harold Cox - Hazel Green, AL Sisters: Irene Jackson and husband Jim - Florence, Mildred Thigpen - Greenhill, and Ruby Putman - Tuscumbia (7) Grandchildren and (2) Great-great Grandchildren Preceded in death by: Parents: Earl Vester Cox and Katie Lou Michael Cox Sisters: Lillian Ambrose and Linda Cox Greenhill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
