Obituary of Rayburn Wisdom, Sr.

Rayburn Alton Wisdom, Sr., 77, of Loretto, TN, passed away March 27, 2019, at his residence. He was a member of Leoma Church of Christ and a retired Agent Officer for TVA. 

Survivors include:

Wife of 55 years:  Carolyn Thigpen Wisdom 

Son: Rayburn A. Wisdom, II (Sonya) – Lawrenceburg

Daughter: Nichole Wisdom (Brian Lacy)-Weyers Cave, VA

Granddaughter: Reagan Wisdom

Sister-in-law: Jeanette Wisdom – Lexington, AL & Patsy Hughes-Florence, AL

Brother-in-law: Danny Thigpen (Glenda)-Florence, AL

Preceded in death by:

Parents: Clarence and Esther Eddy Wisdom

Infant Son: Perry Sean Wisdom

Brother: Gene Austin Wisdom

Visitation will be Friday, March 29, from 5:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be Saturday at 11:00am in the chapel of Greenhill Funeral Home with Bro. Rodney Livingston officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Lexington, AL.

Pallbearers will be Chris Seal, Matt Nichols, Brian Lacy, Mickey Beavers, Gary Beavers, and Danny Thigpen. 

The family would like to thank caregivers Zelda Mitchell and June Killen.
