Obituary of Willie T. Robertson

Willie Thomas (“Papa Willie”) Robertson, 70, of Killen, AL, passed away March 27, 2019 at his home. Mr. Robertson was retired from Lauderdale County Road Department and was also a retired Volunteer Fire Fighter. He served on the Killen Fire Department and was of the Baptist faith. Willie was also a member of Killen Police Department and Killen-Center Star Rescue Department.

 

Willie is survived by:

Fiancé: Vickey Lynn Thompson

Daughter: Dottie Romanda Burbank and husband Phillip

Sister: Helen Goodman

Grandchildren: Danny Burbank (Haley), Heather Hood (Nicholas), and Destiny Harville

 

He was preceded in death by:

Parents: Robert Alonzo Robertson and Laura Peden Robertson

Wife: Carolyn Cody Robertson

Sons: Danny Mack Adams, Roman Anthony Adams, and Willie Thomas Christopher Robertson

Brothers: Noah Lee Robertson and Jesse Earl Robertson

Sister: Stella Mae McClendon

 

Visitation will be Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 5-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Brandon Strickland officiating. Burial will be in Odem’s Chapel Cemetery in St. Joseph, TN. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be his Killen firefighters and friends.

 

The family would like to thank Killen Fire Department and Hospice Nurses Jamie, Crystal, Norma, and Sherry.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Killen Fire Department in Willie’s honor.
