Obituary of Grady Peden

Albert Grady Peden, 82, of Florence, AL, passed away February 5, 2019. Mr. Peden was a retired truck driver and boilermaker and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ.

Grady is survived by:

Daughters: Cindy Burney (Steven Posey) of Livingston, AL; Renee Newbury (David) of Florence; and Olean Bonds (Edd Roberts) of Tuscumbia, AL

Sister: Nellie Hunter (Glenn) of Georgia

(5) Grandchildren and (6) Great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by:

Parents: George Peden and Ella Georgia Clemmons Peden

Wife: Tommie Jo Stutts Peden

Brothers: Ford Peden and Douglas Peden

Sisters: Ruth Owens and Billie Mae McGee

Visitation will be Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 5-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Tim Grigsby officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery with full military honors.

Pallbearers will be Red Burney, Weston Burney, Steven Posey, Michael Latham, Edd Roberts, and David Newbury.

Greenhill Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
