Bonnie Sue (Lester) Dison, 78, of Killen, passed away February 2, 2019, at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence.  She was a retired teacher in the Lauderdale County School System and a member of Shiloh Church of Christ.

 

Survivors include:

Husband: Jerry Dison

Son: Brian Dison (Patti) – St. Joseph, TN

Daughter: Dawn Patterson (Brooks) – Muscle Shoals

Grandchildren: Haley and Hannah Dison & Sierra and Zane Patterson

Special friend: Sue Goins

 

Preceded in death by:

Parents:  Melvin Lester and Ethel Thompson Lester

 

Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be Thursday at 11:00am with Howell Bigham and Tim Grigsby officiating.  Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Zane Patterson, Mike Lester, Larry Robertson, Kenny White, Harry Stovall, and Gene Logan.  Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Looney and Carl Mason.

 

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Hardees breakfast group.
