Obituary of Eugene Holden

Lenice Eugene Holden, 73, of Killen, AL, passed away January 31, 2019. Mr. Holden was the owner/operator of Holden’s Machine Shop and was a member of the Center Hill Church of Christ.

Eugene is survived by:

Mother: Ruby Holden Thigpen

Aunt: Reba Beavers

Sons: Ricky Holden (Vickie) and Robert Holden (Tammy)

Brothers: Jimmy Oscar Holden and Lonnie Holden (Gail)

Sisters: Sue Spurlock (Howard) and Stella Ann Gray (Harold)

Grandchildren: Tyler Holden, Skyler Holden (Katlyn), and Lauren Holden Jones (Jordan)

Great-grandchild: Killian Wade Jones

He was preceded in death by:

                Father: Houston Holden

Visitation will be Sunday, February 3, 2019 from 4-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Monday at 3:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Greg Dial officiating. Burial will be in Center Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Keith Holden, Kenny Holden, Barry Gray, Jason Simpson, Tommy Wallace, and Dwight Simpson. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Burbank, Anthony Daniels, and too many others to mention.

The family would like to send a special thank you to the nurses and staff of the 5^th floor at North Alabama Medical Center, especially Nurse Janice Love, Dr. Felix Morris, and Dr. Therese Lango. The family would also like to thank everyone for the condolences, thought, and prayers during his sickness and this time of loss.
