Obituary of James "Chigger" Yarbrough

James Arthur (“Chigger”) Yarbrough, 71, of Killen, passed away January 24, 2019, at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence.  He was of the Non-denomination Faith, and retired from the City of Florence as an equipment operator.

 

Survivors include:

Wife:               Donna Yarbrough

Sons:                Lee and Jay Yarbrough

Daughter:        Amber Yarbrough

Grandchildren:  T’Kehah, Jada, and Raven Yarbrough

           

Preceded in death by:

`Parents:  Robert and Leona Grigsby Yarbrough

 

Visitation will be Sunday, January, 27, from 5:00-8:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be Monday at 1:00pm at the Word Fellowship Church at 101 County Road 426.  Bro Roger Reed will be officiating.  He will lie in state at the church from 12:00-1:00pm.  Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be his buddies from the Pirates Corner.  Honorary pallbearers will be Don Hudson, Ronald Inman, and the Russell boys.

 

Chigger loved life, was an entertainer, loved to go to the Pirates Corner to see his buddies and tell his tales.  He knew his God.
