Obituary of Clayton Nell Wright

Clayton Nell Beavers Wright, 88, of Killen, AL, passed away December 20, 2018. Mrs. Wright was a homemaker and member of North Carolina Church of Christ.

She is survived by:

Sister-in-law: Mary E. Stutts

Grandchildren: Claudia Wright Askew (Jeff), Jamie King, Jonathan King (Mallory), Jody King (Elizabeth), Joseph Wright (Catherine), Jacob Wright (girlfriend Emily Breaux), and Rhonda Palmer

Great-grandchildren: Houston Askew, Ellie & Case Wright, Amelia & Claire King, and Austin & Ethan Palmer

She was preceded in death by:

Parents: Lonzie Duncan Beavers and Mary Esther Clemmons Beavers

Husband: James Emmett Wright

Visitation will be Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 5-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at North Carolina Church of Christ with Bro. Matthew Heupel officiating. The casket will lie in state from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at the church. Burial will be in North Carolina Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jamie King, Jonathan King, Jody King, Joseph Wright, Jacob Wright, Jeff Askew, Rodney Beavers, and Dan Beavers, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Palmer, Ethan Palmer, and Troy Burgess.

The family would like to thank the nurses, CNA’s, and employees at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home for their outstanding loving care of their mother. Also thanks to Vance Henry for leading the congregational singing.
