Obituary of Venora Bassham

Venora Lee Bishop Bassham, 95, of Killen, AL, passed away October 2, 2018, at ECM Hospital.  She was a homemaker, a member of Harrison Chapel Methodist Church and a MYF Youth Fellowship Sponsor.

                Survivors include:          

                                Sons:   Earl Bassham (Joyce)

                                             Doward Bassham

                                Sister:  Ima Dee Meadows

                                Grandchild:  Lindley French (Jeremy)

                Preceded in death by;

                                Husband:  Lilburn Franklin Bassham

                                Parents:   Lewis L. & Flossie Wood Bishop

                                Brother:   Ezra Bishop

                                Sisters:   Vista Houser, Woody Cross & Vera Mae Shaw

                Visitation for Mrs. Bassham will be on Saturday, October 6, from 11:00am-1:00pm at Greenhill Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm with Rev. Mike Butler & Josh Clayton officiating.  Burial will be in Tri-Cities Cemetery.

                The family would like to thank all of the doctors and staff on the 3rd West, 5th West,  and 6th floor Palliative Care at ECM Hospital for their care, and also caretakers:  Sandy Allen & Becky Searcy.
