William Joseph Hollman, 85, of Loretto, TN, went home to our Lord and Savior on August 17, 2018, after a lengthy illness. Left behind to cherish his memories are his spouse, Margaret Ann Rohling Hollman; sons Michael Hollman and wife Anita, Stephen Hollman and wife Karen Jean, and James Hollman and wife Patsy; daughters Diane Hollman Craig and husband Garry, Karen Hollman Blair and husband Randy, and Brenda Hollman; (12) grandchildren; (20) great-grandchildren; and sisters Eleanor Hollman Simbeck and Genevieve Hollman Henkel.

 

Mr. Hollman was preceded in death by his parents William Henry Hollman and Eva Katherine Hollander Hollman; brothers Chris Hollman and Charles Hollman; and sisters Monica Hollman and Madgaline Hollman Rohling.

 

Mr. Hollman was of the Roman Catholic faith, a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Loretto, TN, and a member of The Knights of Columbus. He was a career carpenter, retired Construction Project Manager, and member of Carpenters Union Local #1209 in Florence, AL. Mr. Hollman was also a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War, where he served as an Infantry Corporal, and a member of American Legion Post #146 in Loretto, TN.

 

Visitation will be Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 5-8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home, with the Rosary Service at 7:00 P.M. The funeral service will be Monday at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church in Loretto with Monsignor Paul Rohling, Father Paul Nguyen, and Father Joseph Mundakal CMI as the officiants. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery with full military honors.

 

Pallbearers will be Lt. Cmdr. Christopher Perry, D.O., Nathan Perry, Matthew Blair, Ross Blair, Russell Hollman, Alex Hollman, Luke Hollman, Todd Broeker, Alan Johnson, Larry Freels, Patrick Clouse, and Jeff Fulkerson. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Caris Hospice Staff.

 

The family would like to send a special thanks to Caris Hospice, the staff of NHC- Scott Nursing Home, and Home Instead for all their care and support during this time.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Loretto, TN.
